Clairo unveils new single, "Nomad"
American indie-pop luminary Clairo has returned with "Nomad" as the latest single from her forthcoming third album, Charm.
"Nomad" – which serves as Charm’s very first track – is a mediation on vulnerability, self preservation, and the urge to run from human connection, and follows previous single, "Sexy To Someone".
Charm was tracked live to tape between the Queens-based studio Diamond Mine Recording and Allaire Studios, which is nestled in the mountains outside of Woodstock, NY. Producer Michels, a renowned soul revivalist who boasts work with funk legend Sharon Jones and The Black Keys, was enlisted to lead the strictly-analogue recording process. The forthcoming album is Clairo's first independent release, after her debut Immunity, on FADER, and the 2021 follow-up, Sling, on Interscope.
Charm, will be released on 12 July, and is available to pre-order now.
