City and Colour, aka Dallas Green, has returned with his first new single in over three years, "Meant To Be".
"Meant To Be" marks the first new material from City and Colour since 2019's A Pill for Loneliness album, although he did cover Low's "Murderer" and "Sunflower" in 2020.
The new song is an elegy for his best friend and producer Karl Bareham, who died while in Australia back in 2019. Speaking about the loss, Green says, "That was the hardest moment I've had in my entire life. It changed me forever."
City and Colour's "Meant To Be" track is out now on Still Records.
