Church of Satan calls Sam Smith and Kim Petras' Grammys performance "nothing particularly special"
The magister for the Church of Satan has weighed in on Sam Smith and Kim Petras' recent Grammys performance that some people thought was "demonic", saying it was "nothing particularly special".
Last week Smith and Petras performed their chart-topping, and Grammy-winning collaboration "Unholy" at the 2023 Grammys, which was criticised online by people such as Ted Cruz and Marjorie Taylor Greene for being "Satanic", "demonic" and "evil".
TMZ has since spoken to the Church of Satan magister David Harris, who said that their Grammys performance was "alright" and "nothing particularly special".
Harris called the politicians who criticised the performance as "delicate snowflakes," and added, "It's sad when politicians on a national stage use someone's religion as a punchline."
Last week Kim Petras paid tribute to SOPHIE during her Grammys speech, saying her "inspiration will forever be in my music."
