Chelsea Wolfe signs to Loma Vista Recordings and shares, "Dusk"
Chelsea Wolfe announces her signing to Loma Vista Recordings (St. Vincent, Iggy Pop, Show Me The Body) and presents her new single, "Dusk".
Of the song, Wolfe comments, “The friends or lovers have gone through hell and back but are still and always united in the end by love, like pottery gone through the fire, broken and pieced back together.”
Produced by David Andrew Sitek of TV On The Radio and mixed by Shawn Everett (Slowdive, SZA, The War On Drugs), "Dusk" was recorded by Derek Coburn at Federal Prism Studios and mastered by Heba Kadry. With lush production, it is intimate and expansive as the core band of Ben Chisholm (synth), Jess Gowrie (drums) and Bryan Tulao (lead guitar) support Wolfe’s delicate vocals.
"Dusk" marks Wolfe’s first new music for her new label home, and her first original music following her contributions to the score of 2022 A24 film X. In the previous year, she released the track "Diana", which features on Dark Nights: Death Metal soundtrack, and is inspired by Wonder Woman in the DC Comics series of the same name.
Wolfe is yet to follow up her 2019 album, Birth of Violence, in her solo work.
"Dusk" is out now on Loma Vista Records.
