Charli XCX revives Ariana Grande's "Domingo" sketch and parodies Chappell Roan on SNL
On Saturday evening (16 November) Charli xcx appeared on SNL as both the host and musical guest.
Last month, Ariana Grande appeared as host on SNL and performed a skit featuring Sabrina Carpenter's "Espresso", in which she played the sister of a bride who may-or-may-not have been unfaithful on her hen do.
For Charli xcx's version of the skit, she was accompanied by Chloe Fineman, Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim and Sarah Sherman, at the pregnant bride's baby shower, singing Chappell Roan's "HOT TO GO!", as they alluded to the infamous Domingo being the father of the baby.
Elsewhere in the episode, she appeared in skits about Shrek The Musical, and America's Next Top Model. Introduced by Julia Fox, she also performed "360" and "Sympathy is a Knife", from her released released Mercury Prize-shortlisted album, Brat.
Brat is out now.
