Charli Adams returns with her first release in two years, "na na na song"
Following on from her 2021 album, Bullseye, Charli Adams shares new single "na na na song".
Produced by Andy Seltzer (Maggie Rogers, Samia, Del Water Gap), today's release marks Adams' first new music since debut LP Bullseye, which arrived after she burst onto the scene with her debut EP, Good At Being Young in 2020.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the single, Charli Adams says: “I wrote the chorus of "na na na song" in my living room back in Nashville. The song is about adjusting to the peaceful feeling that comes with a healthy relationship and the realisation that I could live in the good without anticipating the bad around the corner. I wanted the song to sound as easy as falling in love is when you’re being treated kindly and softly and the song the other person “knows all the words to” is a nod to "A Long December" by Counting Crows".
"na na na song" is out now.
