Cautious Clay announces new EP Thin Ice on the Cake
Cautious Clay has announced his forthcoming EP Thin Ice on the Cake, and has delivered new single "Burning Up Slow" to accompany the news.
Following the release of last month's "Camp Anonymous" single, Cautious Clay has unveiled "Burning Up Slow", which will also appear on his upcoming EP with "Puffer".
Thin Ice on the Cake will follow the deluxe version of his 2021 album Deadpan Love that landed in February, and will feature six tracks in total.
"I've always loved working with juxtapositions in my music," Cautious Clay says. "Conceptually Thin Ice on the Cake relates to being on the edge of something really bad as we grow nearer to death, but birthdays are also about celebrating the positives and joys of life. The cake is a great symbol of that. "Burning Up Slow" is all about enjoying the ride."
