Cat Burns places fourth in Radio 1's Sound of 2023 poll
Cat Burns has taken fourth place in Radio 1's Sound of 2023 poll, after Gabriels placed fifth yesterday (1 January).
Yesterday (1 January) BBC started narrowing down the Radio 1 Sound of 2023 longlist, with Gabriels taking fifth place. Today (2 January) it's been revealed that Cat Burns has placed fourth in the shortlist.

In October last year Cat Burns covered Estelle's "American Boy" for Spotify Singles. Her latest single "people pleaser" also arrived in the same month.
The likes of FLO, Fred again.., Nia Archives, Biig Piig, Rachel Chinouriri, Dylan, Asake and Piri & Tommy are also on the Radio 1 Sound of 2023 longlist.
PinkPantheress was crowned the winner of last year's BBC Sound of 2022 poll ahead Wet Leg, Central Cee and Tems.
The Radio 1 Sound of 2023 winner will be revealed on Thursday, 5 January.
