Caroline Polachek and Weyes Blood join forces on remix of “Butterfly Net”. The reworked song appears on a new deluxe edition of Polachek’s Desire, I Want to Turn Into You.
Weyes Blood and Polachek have performed "Butterfly Net" live together several times, including at Glastonbury and Fuji Rock. The track will appear on Desire, I Want To Turn Into You: Everasking Edition, a deluxe release of her 2023 album, which will also feature the standalone single, "Dang", which she premiered on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
Caroline Polachek's Desire, I Want To Turn Into You topped the end of year lists for 2023 as the overall highest scoring album across multiple publications. Despite only ranking at number 38 on BEST FIT's own list, Caroline Polachek's score, on average, was in the top four of most publications, making Desire, I Want To Turn Into You, the number one Album of the Year across the board. Her fourth studio album was released on Valentine's Day as the follow-up to her debut solo album, Pang, which was released in 2019.
Desire, I Want To Turn Into You: Everasking Edition will be released on 14 February via Perpetual Novice/The Orchard.
