Caity Baser announces UK tour with ticket price cap to make it "affordable and available to all"
Caity Baser has announced some UK tour dates for April, and she's also revealed that prices will be capped so the tour will be "affordable and available to all".
Yesterday (8 January) Caity Baser announced a 10-date UK tour kicking off in Brighton on 7 April. She'll play shows in Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Dublin, Leeds and Southampton, before wrapping up the tour at London's O2 Forum Kentish Town on 20 April, and as well as announcing the new dates, Baser revealed that she's putting a cap on ticket prices to make the shows affordable.
Baser said, "Growing up, going to a gig was something I wasn't able to do that regularly. If I wanted to go to a concert/festival I would have to save up loads or wait until an occasion so I could ask my parents for it. I feel like now, being on the stage performing, I want to make gigs for everyone to come to as many times as they want. Cuz at the end of the day the most important thing to me is having them there."
"So for my tour I wanted to make sure tickets were affordable and available to all who want to come and see me," Baser added. "Times are tough but music heals everyone and if I can help then I will no matter what."
Tickets for Caity Baser's UK tour go on general sale this Friday, 13 January at 10am GMT. Her new EP Thanks For Nothing, See You Never arrives on 17 February.
