Bring Me The Horizon part ways with longtime band member Jordan Fish

Bring Me The Horizon have announced that they've decided to part ways with their keyboardist Jordan Fish.

Jordan Fish joined the group over a decade ago, in 2012, and has featured on albums including Sempiternal, That’s The Spirit, and Amo.

Taking to their socials, the band announced that they have separated from Fish. “Bring Me The Horizon has decided to part ways with Jordan Fish. We want to thank him for the musical journey he took with us and wish him luck with everything in the future. Meanwhile we continue to work on Nex Gen, with brand new music coming very soon. See you on our UK tour in January," they wrote.

Whilst not giving away any details, and alluding to an amicable split, Jordan Fish shared his own statement, saying he is "really grateful for my 11 years with the band, and extremely proud of all that we have achieved together. I look forward to hearing what they do next, and wish them every success in the future. I’m excited to start this next chapter in my career.”

Fans on Reddit had noticed that Fish's presence wasn't there on social media, but speculated the reason was because he was quietly working away on the band's next album. In response to someone who said they couldn't see Jordan ever leaving permanently, one person wrote: "Me too, besides Oli. BMTH wouldn't be who they are without Jordan, he's the other half of the music, organizes and synthesizes Oli's ideas and brings it to life. And his career has been defined by BMTH, it's just as much his band now as it is for the rest of the OG members."

Though another person counteracted this, stating that it may be beneficial for him to step away from the band: "With the high level collabs (Halsey, Ed Sheeran, MGK) I could see Jordan taking a cushy producer/songwriter job. Especially at his age with kids. And he said he doesn’t really care about the live shows (per Finn McKenty podcast). Obviously speculation. Idk why I’m so invested in this."

Bring Me The Horizon are set to embark on their UK arena tour in January and their next release, POST HUMAN: NeX GEn is set to arrive in 2024, after a series of delays, and its original release date in September being pushed back.
