Bob Marley's grandson Jo Mersa Miley dies aged 31
Reggae artist Jo Mersa Marley, who is also the grandson of Bob Marley, has died aged 31.
The 31-year-old was the son of Stephen Marley and a grandson of the legendary Bob Marley. His death was confirmed by Rolling Stone, and a cause of death has not been announced.
Mark J Golding, Jamaica’s leader of the opposition and president of the People’s National Party, led the tributes online, writing, "The loss of a child is a devastating blow no parent should face, my condolences to Stephen & the entire family."

UB40's Ali Campbell also paid tribute to the late artist, writing, "Absolutely shocked to the core. What a delightful young man, we spent some time on tour in America a few times in recent years a real Marley to the core. Wicked Sound, Beautiful Soul. Rest In Paradise Jo Mersa Marley.

The 31-year-old was born in Kingston, Jamaica in 1991. In May 2021 he released his debut album Eternal.
