Blusher share the visualiser for their debut single "Softly Spoken"
Melbourne-based 3-piece band Blusher share a visualiser for their debut single "Softly Spoken".
Originally released last year, today they share a video which offers a further glimpse into the world they're create with their forthcoming debut EP, Should We Go Dance?.
Speaking of the song, the band say: "A great night always begins by getting ready in your friends’ bedroom; sharing makeup, secrets and your frustrations while deciphering texts from boys. Softly Spoken combines softness and sensitivity with screams and aggressive synths."
Speaking to Best Fit about the making of their visualisers, Blusher reveal that they have been taking inspiration from their Tumblr pages, and parties: "It kind of feels like the progression of one night out. Each of the videos themselves kind of has a different timeline of going through the night," says Miranda.
Jade adds that their team has told them that no idea is too crazy to try and achieve, visually – "Our team was just like, 'tell us your craziest ideas' and we sent them a ten page document. We've made so many mood boards, and we're very involved in the creative concepts for the videos. We've kind of just come to the team with these ideas of like, 'I don't know if this is possible', but they were able to sort of make each and every one of those ideas a reality."
Blusher's debut EP debut EP, Should We Go Dance? , is set for release on 14 July via Atlantic Records/Warner Music Australia, and is available to pre-order now.
