Blondshell presents new single, "23’s A Baby"
Sabrina Teitelbaum – AKA Blondshell – has shared "23’s A Baby" as the latest preview of her forthcoming second album, If You Asked For A Picture.
“The song is partially about being in your twenties and feeling like you’re supposed to know everything (your parents even had kids around that age!) yet you’re truly in the weeds trying to figure out who you are. I wanted it to have a bit of a nursery rhyme feel. It’s a heavy subject so it was important to have fun when we made it.”
Along with the song Blondshell shares a video that was directed by Yazz Jansen and loosely inspired by the DILFS of Disneyland instagram account.
If You Asked For A Picture follows Blondshell's self-titled debut album, and recent singles "What's Fair", which was given the Sims treatment, and her collaboration with Bully on "Docket".
Blondshell will return for an UK/EU tour of the UK and Europe in September. She has added a second London headline show at Electric Brixton, as well as upgrading venues in Dublin and Glasgow.
If You Asked For A Picture will be released on 2 May via Partisan Records, and is available to pre-order now.
