Blink-182 deliver "Edging", their first new song with Tom DeLonge in a decade
After confirming their reunion with original vocalist and guitarist Tom DeLonge earlier this week, Blink-182 have unveiled their first new single with DeLonge in 10 years, "Edging".
On Tuesday (11 October) Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker confirmed rumours that Tom DeLonge had rejoined the band, seven years on from DeLonge making his second exit from Blink-182 in 2015. As well as sharing their reunion news, the band announced a global tour as well as their first new single with DeLonge in a decade, "Edging", which has been released in full today.
"Edging" is the first new Blink-182 track to feature DeLonge since their 2012 EP Dogs Eating Dogs, and is produced by drummer Travis Barker, who said, "I wanted to imagine as a listener what I wanted to experience and at the same time as a band member what we wanted to make and say and most importantly how it would sound production wise in 2022."
Their world tour will kick off on 11 March 2023 in Tijuana, and will see them play London's O2 Arena on 11 October 2023 with support from The Story So Far.
"Edging" is out now. Tickets for Blink-182's world tour go on sale 17 October at 10am local time from blink182.com.
