BLACKPINK's Lisa to make her acting debut in third season of The White Lotus
Lisa, of the K-pop group BLACKPINK, is set to make her acting debut in the third season of The White Lotus.
Filming for the Emmy-winning drama series will begin this month across the Southeast Asian country, as part of a partnership between HBO and the Tourism Authority of Thailand, taking place in and around Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok, as reported by Variety. The characters and plot for season three of The White Lotus are currently being kept under wraps.
As well as BLACKPINK's Lisa, the cast includes the likes of Natasha Rothwell, Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Tayme Thapthimthong, Carrie Coon, Christian Friedel, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Aimee Lou Wood, Scott Glenn, Francesca Corney, Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravičius, and Julian Kostov.

Lisa's appearance in The White Lotus will mark her acting debut, as she follows in the footsteps of her bandmate Jennie, who appeared in The Idol, which was co-created by The Weeknd, Euphoria's Sam Levinson and Reza Fahim. The series also features Lily-Rose Depp, Troye Sivan, Moses Sumney, and TV on the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe.
BLACKPINK recently received honorary MBEs from King Charles III for their climate activism, and their commitment to raising awareness about climate change.
There is currently not a set release date for season three of The White Lotus.
