Black Country, New Road share new single, "Happy Birthday"
Black Country, New Road have shared "Happy Birthday" as the latest preview of their forthcoming album, Forever Howlong.
“When I wrote ‘Happy Birthday’ I had Georgia’s song ‘Besties’ in my head while I was writing it. Therefore, the structure of it is heavily influenced by it,” says Tyler Hyde.
Alongside the new song, the band have also announced details of a new intimate run of UK live shows to take place in April 2025, in which they will perform the album in full to celebrate it's release. These dates will come ahead of their US, EU, and UK tours, which are set to take place later this year, including their biggest headliner yet at London's O2 Brixton Academy.
Forever Howlong is their first studio release since 2022's Ants From Up There, which gave the band their second Top Five UK album in 12 months alongside their Mercury Prize shortlisted debut, For the first time, and follows 2023's Live at Bush Hall.
Forever Howlong will be released on 4 April via Ninja Tune. To pre-order the album, and buy tickets to their tour, visit blackcountrynewroad.com.
