Björk to unveil fossora lead single "Atopos" tomorrow
"Atopos", the first taster of Björk's forthcoming album fossora, is expected to arrive tomorrow (6 September) following a BBC Radio 6 Music premiere.
After sharing the tracklist, artwork and release for fossora last week, Björk is due to share the album's lead single "Atopos" tomorrow morning via BBC Radio 6 Music, who will premiere the song at 10am BST.
fossora will follow Björk's 2017 album Utopia, and will feature 13 songs in total. It will include contributions from Serpentwithfeet, backing vocals from her son Sindri and daughter Doa, songs written for Björk's mum, and a poem Látra-Björg, an 18th-century fisherwoman and outcast.
As well as sharing details of her fossora album last week, Björk released the first three episodes of her Sonic Symbolism podcast.
"Atopos" will premiere tomorrow (6 September) at 10am BST on BBC 6 Music. Her fossora album arrives on 30 September via One Little Independent Records, and is available to pre-order now.
