Björk reveals Coachella 2023 performance will be an Orkestral show
Björk has revealed that her forthcoming Coachella 2023 performance will be part of her Orkestral concert series that started in 2021.
Back in 2020 Björk announced some Björk Okestral shows for Iceland, which ended up being postponed until late 2021 due to the pandemic. She's since taken the show series to North America, Europe and South America, and yesterday (24 January) on socials, Björk announced that her appearance at this year's Coachella festival will also be part of her Orkestral show series.
Björk wrote, "dearest friends, we are so excited to bring björk orkestral to Coachella. we will bring on the stage a local orkestra and play arrangements from 30 years."
Last week Björk teamed up with Sega Bodega and Shygirl for a new remix of her Fossora song "Ovule".
Coachella 2023 will take place in Indio, California from 14-16, and 21-23 April. Visit coachella.com for more information.
