Billie Eilish performs "Your Power" on HIT ME HARD AND SOFT TOUR: "I want you to know that you’re safe with me"
Billie Eilish is currently in the midst of the North American leg of her HIT ME HARD AND SOFT tour. On Wednesday evening at the Bridgestone Arena, in Nashville, she debuted "Your Power".
The track features on her second studio album, Happier Than Ever, and was written about the abuse of power that she's faced over the years. In light of Donald Trump's election win, she shared a passionate speech, letting fans know that her concert was a safe space for women, before performing "Your Power".
"Waking up this morning, I kinda couldn’t fathom doing a show on this day. But the longer the day went on, I kinda had this feeling of it’s such a privilege I get to do this with you guys," she said to the crowd. "I just love you so much and I want you to know that you’re safe with me and you’re protected here and you’re safe in this room."

Introducing "Your Power", she said it was "about the abuse that exists in this world upon women and a lot of the experiences that I have gone through and people I know have gone through".
Billie Eilish added that she doesn't know a single woman who hasn't faced some form of abuse in their lives, "and now a person who is a convicted — let’s say a convicted predator, let’s say that — someone who hates women so, so deeply is about to be the President of the United States of America. So, this song is for all the women out there. I love you, I support you."
