Biig Piig to curate Gaza Aid fundraiser in partnership with Choose Love
Biig Piig has announced that she will be curating a fundraiser in partnership with Choose Love, featuring the likes of Lava La Rue, Kojaque, yuné pinku, Maverick Sabre and more.
In a wide-ranging lineup headlined and organised by Biig Piig, GAZA AID will see the likes of Kojaque and Lava La Rue to Maverick Sabre, yunè pinku, Mac Wetha (and special guests).
Commenting on their decision to stage GAZA AID, this community of young artists write: “It is our mission to raise funds to support Choose Love’s efforts to get urgent humanitarian aid to the more than 2 million people trapped inside Gaza. We are devastated by the ongoing suffering and are doing everything we can to support civilians affected by this crisis. Thanks to all the contributing artists and their teams, to Metropolis for pulling it together, to Village Underground for hosting, to Choose Love for their all efforts and for the extended humanitarian work that they do across the Globe, and thank you to all ticket buyers and donors, we can’t wait to see you at what will be a special night.”
100% of all profits raised from ticket sales and merchandise will go towards the non-governmental organisation Choose Love, directly supporting emergency response work in Gaza.
“The humanitarian Crisis in Gaza is one of the most horrific I’ve seen in my lifetime. There have been so many lives destroyed and dreams taken from innocent people. I wanted to hold an event to support the people that have been affected and to spread awareness to what’s happening in real time," Biig Piig says.
GAZA AID, a fundraiser for Choose Love, will take place at London’s Village Underground on 4 February. Tickets are available via metropolismusic.com.
