Biig Piig returns with the brand new single, "Watch Me"
Following her acclaimed debut mixtape Bubblegum which was released earlier this year, Biig Piig has returned with the new single, "Watch Me".
Spending time this year off tour between London and Paris working in the legendary studios behind the French electronic scene, "Watch Me" takes inspiration from both cities but was conceived by Biig Piig back in the UK alongside her close collaborators; namely, Zach Nahome (PinkPantheress, Teezo Touchdown) and Maverick Sabre.
Introducing her new single today, Biig Piig comments: “"Watch Me" is a track about empowerment. I found confidence in pushing new limits with it. It’s a song to feel yourself unapologetically and to strut to. Telling the world, I am that bitch, watch me.”
The video also marks Biig Piig’s directorial debut, having creatively-directed the stunning, empowering video and co-directing alongside NWSPK. “I had a really clear vision of what I wanted the video to be, even when writing the track. I wanted to build a surreal world of strength through movement. That vision was a series of settings that were striking and confident.”
Following the release of Bubblegum, Biig Piig linked up with Kojaque on the single, "WOOF", and featured on Jelani Blackman's first release of the year, "Rise".
