Biig Piig links with Deb Never on new song "Picking Up"

After announcing her debut mixtape Bubblegum with "This Is What They Meant" in October, Biig Piig, who is on the BBC Sound of 2023 longlist, has delivered new single "Picking Up", which features Deb Never and is accompanied by a video recorded at one of Biig Piig's live shows.

Biig Piig says, ""Picking Up" is about wanting to run, get outside of your body, or go and punch something…anything to get the feeling out. I just love Deb and her energy: the track itself is heavy, but we had a lot of fun making a song about following anxiety and chaos."

Deb Never adds, "I’ve been a fan of Biig Piig for a while now so it holds dear to me that we created something special, especially with Mac Wetha, who is a close friend and who produced on the track. I’m elated to be a part of this song."

Bubblegum will follow Biig Piig's 2021 EP The Sky Is Bleeding, and will also feature September's "Kerosene".
