Big Hit Music says BTS' RM is "currently working" on his solo album
Following reports that RM of BTS is planning to release a solo album next month, Big Hit Music has confirmed that the BTS member is "currently working" on his solo record.
Earlier today (1 November) JTBC News reported that BTS' RM is planning to release his solo album by the end of November, and in response, Big Hit Music confirmed (according to Koreaboo) that a solo album is on the way, but didn't address the potential release date. Big Hit Music stated, "RM is planning to release his solo album. He is currently working on it."
The update comes just days after BTS' Jin released his new solo single "The Astronaut", which was co-written with Coldplay.
Last month it was announced that BTS will move forward with completing their mandatory military service in South Korea, and will reunite as a group in 2025.
In September BTS' RM featured on Balming Tiger's "SEXY NUKIM" single.
