Beyoncé appears to confirm Dolly Parton collaboration with Cowboy Carter tracklist
Beyoncé has officially revealed that track listing for her forthcoming album, Cowboy Carter.
Taking to her socials, Beyoncé has shared a graphic which appears to contain the list of songs on her forthcoming album, Cowboy Carter.
One of the tracks is titled “Dolly P” alongside Parton’s iconic hit “Jolene” — which Beyoncé is rumoured to have covered, thanks to Parton teasing the collaboration a few weeks ago. Whilst there is no confirmation of a collaboration, another song on the album is “Smoke Hour Willie Nelson", with the counterpart "Smoke Hour II". "The Linda Martell Show" referring to the first Black country artist to play the famous Grand Ole Opry and one of the first commercially successful Black country artists, is also among the tracklist.
In an earlier Instagram post, Beyoncé revealed that the album has been in the works for more than five years. “I focused on this album as a continuation of RENAISSANCE … I hope this music is an experience, creating another journey where you can close your eyes, start from the beginning and never stop".
