Belle and Sebastian's Stuart Murdoch says he's "getting slowly back on my feet" after postponing UK tour "due to a health issue"
Belle and Sebastian's Stuart Murdoch has revealed he's "getting slowly back on my feet" after postponing the group's UK tour "due to a health issue" earlier this month.
Earlier this month Belle and Sebastian postponed their November UK tour "due to a health issue", and after cancelling their South America tour dates in December yesterday (17 November), the band's Stuart Murdoch has shared an update on Twitter, revealing that he's "getting slowly back on my feet after being quite unwell."
Murdoch wrote, "Obviously we’re all very disappointed to be missing the UK tour, and now South America. There would be nothing we would like more than to be playing to you, in the warm embrace of the music and the wonderful Belles’ audience.."
"I’m getting slowly back on my feet after being quite unwell, using faith and love to charge my batteries again.. and a lot of help from family and friends," Murdoch continued. "We’re so sorry for any inconvenience caused to you. We sincerely hope we can make it up to you sometime in the future.."

Since Murdoch's update, Belle and Sebastian have announced rescheduled dates for their UK tour. It'll now take place in July 2023, and will see them play London's Roundhouse on 17 and 18 July 2023.
Our UK tour has now been rescheduled for July; original tickets are still valid, & the new Oxford show will go on sale Tuesday, November 22nd at 9am. We appreciate all the well wishes & patience as we've worked behind the scenes to re-schedule, & we hope to see you in July. pic.twitter.com/7Pp8Xg1RAb
