Barack Obama shares favourite music of 2023 list featuring Mitski, Tyla, and Megan Thee Stallion
Barack Obama's favourite tracks of 2023 list has been revealed, and includes songs by Mitski, Tyla, Megan Thee Stallion and more.
Barack Obama has revealed his 28 favourite songs from the past year, including the likes of "My Love Mine All Mine" by Mitski, Blondshell's "Joiner", GRAMMY-nominated South African artist Tyla's single "Water", which made her the highest-charting African female solo artist ever on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Other featured artists are Megan Thee Stallion, Stormzy and Fredo, Indigo De Souza, Dave and Central Cee, Victoria Monét, and Asake.
For the second year in a row, Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar feature on the list – last year saw their respective singles, "Break My Soul" and "The Heart Part 5" being featured – but this time, their "America Has A Problem" collaboration features on Obama's favourite songs of 2023.
Kendrick Lamar, Burna Boy and 21 Savage also made Barack Obama's 2023 summer playlist.
