Aziya returns with the new track, "wundagirl"
Returning this year with the singles "atomic" and "chain", as well as a triumphant UK tour, Aziya is continuing the momentum with the brand new single, "wundagirl".
Entirely written and produced by Aziya herself, the track displays her carefully honed skills in their full glory.
"'It's not you, that they need. It's not you, it's not me' – This is a lyric in the song that perfectly sums up wundagirl - sometimes the expectations and requirements of the music industry from an artist is beyond human capability; it requires a superhero, a wundagirl!!! I wrote this song to remind myself and others that in these moments of feeling inadequate who you are what you do is more than good enough and worth persevering for," says Aziya.
"This song started when I found a sample by one of my favourite producers 'wondagurl'. I feel as though intrinsically her name really struck a very apparent frustration inside me of not feeling good enough at times to do music, the lyrics and the melody really did just subconsciously flow.”
