Avril Lavigne reveals that she'd like to collaborate with Hayley Williams
In a feature with Women's Wear Daily, Avril Lavigne kept a diary of her New York Fashion Week adventures.
Lavigne outlines that her NYFW experience was kickstarted with a party hosted by Nylon. The next day, she went to her first show, which was by Christian Siriano, and she mentions being sat next to Kesha, as well as meeting Janet Jackson later in the day.
The following day, she went to the Dion Lee show, and revealed that she met Paramore's Hayley Williams for the first time. "I sat next to Hayley Williams, and I can’t believe our first time meeting was at a fashion show. She’s amazing and I’d love to collab with her one day.”
When images circulated online of the emo/pop-punk queens sat together, the alternative fan scene went into a frenzy. The pair have been seen in many pictures together over the years, and have of course featured on the same line-ups at festivals, but fans are now shocked to hear that they have never actually met before.
I’m so confused. This whole time i thought they had met.
