Aurora returns with "The Conflict of The Mind"
Norwegian alt-pop singer-songwriter Aurora who has released her new single, "The Conflict of The Mind".
Aurora co-directed the accompanying music video with Kaveh Nabatian (The Barr Brothers), depicting her struggle to fit in, without losing her identity.
“I tend to isolate myself when I’m in pain. And with time, I’ve learnt that I’ve deprived the people around me of the great honour of being there for someone you love. Deep in there, beneath all the darkness, there is beauty. Once you’ve truly opened up you’ll find a version of yourself you thought was gone. And it will be beautiful," Aurora explains. "Talk to each other before it’s too late. All families have pain, and I believe talking to each other is an important part of healing. After the storm, comes peace."
"The Conflict of The Mind" is the second glimpse of the follow-up to Aurora's third album, The Gods We Can Touch. Last November, she returned with "Your Blood".
AURORA also released her very first book last year, The Gods We Can Touch, which is a full-colour reproduction of AURORA’s personal notebook also features all the song lyrics from the album, original album artwork and stunning photography. Due to unprecedented high demand, and sales surpassing 10,000 copies to date, the printing presses had to be relaunched.
"The Conflict of The Mind" is out now via Decca Records/Glassnote/Petroleum.
