AURORA announces her first book, The Gods We Can Touch
Norwegian electro-pop artist AURORA announces the release of her first book, The Gods We Can Touch. This book opens the door into AURORA’s mind and the artistic process that shaped her UK Top Ten Album of the same name.
The Gods We Can Touch is a highly intimate book, taking readers on a journey through her creative process and the inspiration for her acclaimed third studio album. This full-colour reproduction of AURORA’s personal notebook also features all the song lyrics from the album, original album artwork and stunning photography.
The album is a unique and immersive treasure trove for fans, which will be published as a cloth-bound hardcover. Fans will also have the opportunity to order an exclusive edition of the book including artwork cards designed in collaboration with AURORA.
Alongside the book, AURORA is also releasing a special edition vinyl version of The Gods We Can Touch. Inspired by Greek mythology, the album landed at number eight in the Official UK Album Chart and was the third most streamed new album in the world on Spotify the weekend of its release.
The Gods We Can Touch will be published jointly by Faber Music and Decca Records on 16 November. It is the first partnership between Faber Music and Decca Records, but also UMG. The book is available to pre-order now.
