Arizona city Glendale to be temporarily renamed Swift City for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour
Glendale in Arizona will be renamed Swift City for two days later this week to celebrate Taylor Swift beginning her Eras Tour in the city.
This afternoon (13 March) Glendale Mayor Jerry P. Weiers announced that on 17 and 18 March, the Arizona city will be temporarily renamed to Swift City, honouring Swift, who will kick off The Eras Tour at the State Farm Stadium this Friday.

AZ Central reports that Glendale will have digital billboards along the "freeways and in Westgate Entertainment District" to welcome fans to Swift City.
A variety of Westgate bars and restaurants will also have Swift themed food and drinks, such as cocktails names after her "Midnight Rain", "Bad Blood" and "Lover" tracks.
Last week it was announced that Stanford University is launching a new class on Taylor Swift's "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)".
