Are The Smile using ciphers to tease a forthcoming release?
The Smile appear to be gearing up for the release of another batch of music to follow their recent album, Wall of Eyes.
At the start of the month, they unveiled a very limited edition two-track 12-inch single released exclusively through record shops globally. The double A-side comprised of “Don’t Get Me Started” and another new song, “The Slip”. This was followed by the digital release of "Don't Get Me Started". The release served as the first new music from The Smile since their acclaimed album Wall Of Eyes.
Now, via a series of ciphers posted on their social media pages, it seems as though the band are teasing another release. Fans have been trying to decode the ciphers and believe that The Smile are leaking the tracklist for a forthcoming full-length.
One person commented on a recent Instagram post of theirs, with a prospective tracklist: "1. ? 2. ? 3. Zero Sum 4. Colours Fly 5. ? 6. Don't Get Me Started 7. Tiptoe 8. The Slip 9. ? 10. Bodies Laughing 11. ? 12. ?".
