Apple Original Films announce forthcoming Fleetwood Mac documentary
Apple Original Films has revealed that they are working on a definitive documentary about Fleetwood Mac, which has been completely authorised by the band.
Directed by Frank Marshall, a five-time Academy Award nominee, EGOT, and winner of the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award, who worked nn The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart (2020), Jazz Fest: A New Orleans Story (2022) and The Beach Boys (2024).
The members of Fleetwood Mac, alongside exclusive interviews, tributes to Christine McVie, archival footage, and unseen material, will narrate their own story.
This is HUGE and about time!

If anyone has seen other Frank Marshall docs, like The Bee Gees or the recent Beach Boys doc that Lindsey was in, Fleetwood Mac are definitely in good hands with Frank Marshall!
Exciting!! https://t.co/idWyeMLpx7
“I am fascinated by how this incredible story of enormous musical achievement came about," said Frank Marshall. "Fleetwood Mac somehow managed to merge their often chaotic and almost operatic personal lives into their own tale in real-time, which then became legend. This will be a film about the music and the people who created it.”
“We are thrilled to continue our creative partnership with Frank and the talented team at Kennedy/Marshall. Fleetwood Mac are a musical phenomenon, their alchemy almost beyond comprehension," added producer Nicholas Ferrall.
There are currently no further details on the forthcoming documentary.
