Apple Music launching new karaoke feature later this month
Apple has announced the launch of Apple Music Sing, a new in-app karaoke feature that's arriving later this month.
This afternoon (6 December) Apple announced Apple Music Sing, a new karaoke feature that will have adjustable vocals, real-time lyrics, background vocals and duet view tools to allow Apple Music users to sing to their favourite tracks.
Apple Music Sing will launch worldwide later this month, and will arrive alongside 50 companion playlists that will include "epic songs, duets, choruses, and anthems".
Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Apple Music and Beats said, "Apple Music’s lyrics experience is consistently one of the most popular features on our service. We already know our users all over the world love to follow along to their favourite songs, so we wanted to evolve this offering even further to enable even more engagement around music through singing. It’s really a lot of fun, our customers are going to love it."
Apple Music Sing will launch globally later this month on iPhone, iPad and the new Apple TV 4K.
