Anna B Savage delivers new track "Pavlov's Dog"
Ahead of releasing her in|FLUX album this Friday, Anna B Savage has shared a final preview of the record titled "Pavlov's Dog".
"Pavlov's Dog" is the final taster of Anna B Savage's new album, which comes out in a couple of days, and will feature on the record with previous singles "Crown Shyness", "in|FLUX" and "The Ghost".
"Desire is hard when you know it’s not feasible in the long run, and this song charts that particular bittersweet scenario," Anna B Savage says. "A telling of a positive sexual encounter where my sexuality was recognised and expressed and seen as a positive, healthy thing. Of course, I couldn’t write something solely positive, so this is a scenario where you know you both like each other, but your worlds just don’t overlap: your woods / my mountains. Ultimately, you have to let that special moment be just that: a single, special moment."
in|FLUX will follow Anna B Savage's 2021 debut album A Common Turn, and is produced by Tunng and LUMP's Mike Lindsay.
"Pavlov's Dog" is out now. Anna B Savage's in|FLUX album will follow via City Slang this Friday, 17 February, and is available to pre-order now. She'll play London's Village Underground on 28 March. Visit annabsavage.com for tickets.
