Animal Collective share the brand new single, “Gem & I”
Animal Collective release new single “Gem & I", which is a track the band first began playing live in 2019.
“Gem & I” is the final preview of their thirteenth studio album Isn’t It Now?, and follows previous singles "Soul Capturer", and "Defeat".
Today the band also announces a series of release week global album listening parties in the US, UK and Europe. This includes an ‘In Conversation & Signing’ on release day at London’s Rough Trade East.
The quartet of Avey Tare, Panda Bear, Deakin, and Geologist recorded Isn’t It Now? with the Grammy-winning producer Russell Elevado (D’Angelo, The Roots, Kamasi Washington), who co-produced and mixed the album.
"Gem & I" is out now. Isn’t It Now? is due to arrive on 29 September via Domino.
