Anastasia Coope has shared "Sorghum", as the third single from her forthcoming debut album, Darning Woman.
The latest single was inspired by words overheard in a passing conversation: ‘She’s with me and I’m not happy about it.’ That casual yet brutal rejection morphed into a song about finding common ground in a shared space with someone else.
"Sorghum" follows previous singles, "Woke Up and No Feet", and “He’s On His Way Home, We Don’t Live Together". Also announced is Anastasia Coope’s first UK show - she will perform at Pitchfork London festival on the 9 November
Darning Woman, is set for release on 31 May via Anastacia Coope's new label home, Jagjaguwar.
