Amber Arcades delivers new single "Odd to Even"
Amber Arcades has released new track "Odd to Even" as the second taster of her forthcoming third album Barefoot On Diamond Road.
"Odd to Even" is the second preview of Barefoot On Diamond Road, following October's lead single "Just Like Me".
"I love how this song musically feels very light and playful but powerful at the same time, which I think matches the lyrics very well," Amber Arcades explains. "It's about that peak new love energy where you're almost creepily obsessed with someone and just want to feel connected to them on every possible physical and mental level."
Barefoot On Diamond Road was conceived remotely with Ben Greenberg (Danny Elfman, Depeche, Ryley Walker) in New York while Annelotte de Graaf was in Amsterdam, and features drums and percussion arrangements by Matt Chamberlain (Pearl Jam, David Bowie, Adele, Lorde).
"Odd to Even" is out now. Amber Arcades will release Barefoot On Diamond Road on 10 February 2023 via Fire Records, and is available to pre-order now.
