Adrianne Lenker unveils the brand new single, "Free Treasure"
Adrianne Lenker has shared the single, "Free Treasure", which is the latest to be taken from her upcoming album, Bright Future.
Featuring Mat Davidson on vocal and guitar harmonies, "Free Treasure" is a homely song with a message to “love without measure.” It is a road-worn traveller’s paradise, full of adventure and whimsy, free to whomever lays it all down. “Just when I thought I couldn’t feel more, I feel a little more.”
"Free Treasure" follows previous singles, "Fool", "Ruined" and "Sadness As A Gift", and comes after the surprise release of a Bandcamp exclusive EP with all proceeds being donated to Palestine Children’s Relief Fund. Last week, Lenker revealed that I Won't Let Go Of Your Hand had raised almost $75k and will continue to donate any further funds.
Adrianne Lenker's first solo album in four years, Bright Future, is set for release on 22 March via 4AD, and is available to pre-order now.
