Adele discusses fans throwing things on stage: "I fucking dare you"
Global superstar Adele is currently in the midst of a Las Vegas residency, which originally ran between last November through to March. After a three month break, she returned to the stage, and will continue performing until 4 November.
During her most recent performance, at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, with a t-shirt gun in her hand, Adele addressed the latest string of occurrences where concertgoers have been throwing things on stage and hitting the artist.
Two weeks ago, a video surfaced of Bebe Rexha performing in New York. 27-year-old New Jersey resident Nicolas Malvagna thew his phone at the singer, who had to be hospitalised after the incident. The following day, she shared a picture of her injuries which included stitches in her eyebrow, and a black eye.
This was quickly followed by footage of singer Ava Max was slapped in the face by a concertgoer, to which she later tweeted: " He slapped me so hard that he scratched the inside of my eye. He’s never coming to a show again", meanwhile country singer Kelsea Ballerini was hit in the face with an object thrown by a fan during a concert in Idaho. She tried to continue playing guitar, after asking her violinist to check on her, but eventually she walked off stage.
"Have you noticed how people are forgetting fucking show etiquette and people are just throwing shit on stage?," Adele asked the crowd whilst addressing these incidents. "I fucking dare you. Dare you to throw something at me and I'll fucking kill you," she continued before launching a t-shirt at them.

Not only focusing hitting artists in the face with phones or their hands; some of the items that concertgoers have thrown on stage recently are rather bizarre.
Pink was recently left confused as a fan apparently threw their mother's ashes on stage, which she called "a step too far", whilst in London, she seemed more pleased to be given a giant wheel of brie cheese.
Lil Nas X recently headlined Lollapalooza in Stockholm, and towards the end of his performance of "Down Souf Hoes", he noticed that somebody had thrown a sex toy on stage. Tentatively walking towards it, before picking it up, he asked the crowd: "Who threw they pussy on stage?"
