Actress announces new EP with lead single "Dream"
Actress has announced his forthcoming EP Dummy Corporation, and has shared new single "Dream" to accompany the news.
"Dream" is Actress' first outing since teaming up with Mount Kimbie's Kai Campos on "AZD SURF" in August, and is a Detroit-inspired nine-minute single that arrives as the first taster of Actress' Dummy Corporation EP.
Dummy Corporation will follow Actress' 2020 album Karma & Desire, and will feature four tracks in total.
Actress, real name Darren Cunningham, says of the project, "The overall idea is for this to be a demonstration of the process and the philosophical action art of creating modern day electronic music. I create these sketches, essentially like the fabrics, and I collage them together...once I see the picture it’s embellished further and the process repeats..."
