A Winged Victory For The Sullen return with new track "All Our Friends Are Vampires"
A Winged Victory For The Sullen are back with their first new song since 2021, "All Our Friends Are Vampires".
"All Our Friends Are Vampires" marks the duo's first new material since 2021's "Beethoven 250" song that featured on Coldcut's @0 ambient compilation, and was written during a snowstorm in Iceland last winter.
Dustin O’Halloran says, "For this piece we felt a thirst to return to the simplicity of where we began. To find the sound of our own minuscule nature within our universe, floating weightless in cosmic indifference; writing within the elements of piano and a vintage synth, which became the string quartet and guitar drones, and recording them all to capture time in an acoustic space."
They're yet to follow up their 2021 album Invisible Cities.
A Winged Victory For The Sullen's "All Our Friends Are Vampires" single is out now on Ninja Tune.
