2022 Mercury Prize Award ceremony rescheduled for October
This year's Mercury Prize Award ceremony has been moved to mid October after the original date was postponed due to the Queen's death.
Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II on 8 September, the 2022 Mercury Prize Award ceremony was postponed with nominees and some attendees already at the London venue.
This morning (23 September) it's been announced that the 2022 ceremony has been rescheduled for 18 October. The announcement also reveals that details of performances from the 2022 nominees will be confirmed closer to the new date.
Further details of the live performances will be confirmed at a later date.

Circle tickets purchased through Eventim for the original date will remain valid for the new date on Tuesday 18 October at @EventimApollo.#MercuryPrize
