The South London duo channel Phoenix and TDCC on their jovial new single “Early Hours”.
Whilst certainly not groundbreaking New Cross group WOWH are making a really quite charming blend of indie and soulful groove that seems to be striking a chord. Their latest endeavor “Early Hours” is a marriage of disco funk and an almost Alt-j-esque vocal in places. Certainly a toe tapper.

The lyrical content, in singer Nick Harrison’s words, is “about booty calls and I suppose it was meant to reflect on how healthy they are for the people involved.”
