WILDES encourages the search for "True Love" in delicately ambient new track
Anglo-Irish songwriter WILDES, aka Ella Walker, showcases her new track which cascades with ethereal vocals. The track inhabits a message that anyone can find "True Love" regardless of who they are.
At only 23 years of age, WILDES displays an innocent fragility while lacing hints of folk within a serene atmosphere. The Londoner's vocals are exquisite throughout this elegant piece and her lyricism is wise beyond her youth.
"'True Love' is about showing someone who feels undeserving of happiness just how deserving they are, and trying to inspire wonder in them again," explains WILDES of her new track. "We all have a true love, no matter our gender, sexuality or race, but sometimes we need to be reminded to cross those boundaries we set for ourselves, fall in love and claim our happiness again."
BBC Radio 1's Phil Taggart, who signed WILDES aged 19, says: "Daniel Johnston sang 'True Love Will Find You in the End'. If you are going to take on the biggest topic in songwriting, in life, that of love, you better do it justice. WILDES does exactly that on this brooding and beautiful new single."
This charming songwriter continues to produce irresistible tracks about important topics. The mystery surrounding WILDES is infectious and will hopefully be further uncovered on her upcoming album.
