Westerman unveils enchanting new track "Mother Song"
Westerman impresses with his soothing vocals and intricate, acoustic melodies in his latest offering, "Mother Song".
Fusing iconic influences like Nick Drake, John Martyn and Neil Young, Westerman’s latest track presents delicate melodies with heavenly harmonies that are brimming with golden sunlight.
Westerman’s vocals sway between folk-infused whispers and more tenacious tellings of how he wants to "bathe you in the morning light". The contrasting vocal tones add a goosebump-worthy sound, both on a lyrical and musical level.
The London songwriter's ability to add beauty and light to a seemingly solemn track takes a direct effect, and showcases his profound determination to portray his raw emotion and authenticity through the simplicity of his beloved guitar and delicate vocals.
"Mother Song" is the final track to be lifted from Westerman's debut EP Harvard (out now). See live dates below.
