On Wednesday of this week, we revealed the Hi-NRG new single from Stockholm based producer Lucas Nord featuring the fast rising singer-songwriter Tove Lo on vocal duties. Hot on the heels of the stream comes the official video for said track.

Akin to the two contrasting versions of Robyn’s ‘Indestructible’ or ‘Hang With Me’, ‘Run On Love’ could just as easily be a stark piano led ballad as it is dancefloor behemoth – boasting a ‘classic’ approach to melody and structure. Emotion pours out with equal levels of euphoria and sadness; Lo’s raspy vocal yearning with optimism for a love affair that’s fast running out of steam. The sentiment simple: let’s hold on to what we’ve got, before it all inevitably fucks up.
