Late last year, Berlin based pop duo Iberia dropped what we described as the “aural equivalent of paradise” with ‘An Ending (Ascent)’ – a song so true and pure, mere adjectives fail to do it justice.
Fast forward four months and the pair return with ‘Everyday’, yet another slice of heaven. Whilst ‘An Ending’ hit hard on the heart, ‘Everyday’ sets its sights on the senses. Skipping, synthesised beats lay the foundation for Maja Mathé Milner’s other-worldly vocal that floats gently against the pulse like nature of the track. Impeccably produced, ‘Everyday’ is yet another step in the right direction for one of the most intriguing nu-pop acts in recent times.
