Drenched in a typically 70s hue, Coves have unveiled the video for their latest single, due for release on 17 March.
-The co-ed duo - John Ridgard and Beck Wood – have been making tie-dye infused waves for sometime now. This new track, along with its wonderfully apt kaleidoscopic visuals, cements them as a member of the ever-expanding resurgence in UK psychedelia, alongside the likes of Temples and TOY.
Ridgard’s riff, coloured with mysterious reverse-delay, crunches away below Wood’s woozy melody, before tambourines and an almost oriental background complete the brilliant trip.
Lose yourself in the new video for “Cast A Shadow”; it’s our Song Of The Day.
